Doubt The Dream Killer And Its Big Friend Fear

I wish there was a magic wand to wave over every doubtful and fearful thought so it could magically disappear. We wouldn’t struggle with these untimely and raw emotions that can create an energy-sucking whirlpool of dread.

Doubt is a dream killer which is known for butchering every ounce of joy, inspired thought and positive action known to man. It is cleverly disguised as sound advice from a “concerned” friend, the second guess masked as a barrier of protection against impending harm and the voice of reason bringing you back to earth.

The insidious tactics of doubt (when left unchecked), have the capability to stop, kill and destroy with the power of fear.  Fear is like a high-pitch shrill awakening every fiber of fright within our soul.

This deadly emotion is responsible for failed businesses, lost dreams and every imaginable deterrent standing in the way to happiness. More often than not, fear does not immediately attack one’s thoughts, but rather uses doubt to quietly creep in one’s mind preventing positive action.

How can one overcome the devastating effects of doubt and fear? Is it truly possible to eradicate these vicious emotions for good?

Hell yes!

There are 3 simple anecdotes for doubt and fear:

1. Access the power within: You are powerful beyond measure. A high source of energy and an endless stream of creativity. Within you lies an abundant fountain of solutions, peace and joy. To access this source of greatness, you simply accept this is true.

2. Conquer fear with love: Compassion is the killer of fear. Loving oneself through patience, kindness and seeking the best in life will kick fear to the side and let your light shine. Having compassion for yourself regardless of perceived weaknesses, will allow you to accept the imperfections of others. Fear cannot stay where love abounds.

3. Be unreasonable: Under no circumstance (ever), invite doubt and fear into your mind. As a watchman guards against intruders, so must you guard against any suggestion that does not align with the highest thought of you or others. This will take some work, but once you have practiced this often, you’ll detect doubt and fear a mile away.

Like a fortress, you’ll stand against the wiles of doubt and fear. You’ll no longer succumb to the deceptive thoughts which will attempt to steal your joy and peace of mind.

Stand tall my friend.
